This is a yummy, hearty breakfast, great for brunches or overnight guests.

Ingredients
6 slices crustless bread, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
3/4 lb. spicy pork sausage
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
4 ounces diced green chiles
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Brown pork sausage, drain. Line greased 1/2 quart casserole with bread cubes. Pour 1/2 of sausage on bread. Top with 1/2 of cheese and 1/2 of green chiles. Repeat layers of sausage, cheese and chiles. Beat eggs, milk, salt, chili powder and pepper. Pour over sausage layers. Chill in refrigerator overnight.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour or until set. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
