Kitchen On Fire
Mastering the Art of Cooking in 12 Weeks (or less)
By Olivier Said and Chef MIKEC
I like the premise of this book. It takes you back to the basics of understanding how to prepare and cook an endless number of foods, helping to free people from always having to use a recipe. From learning how to use a knife to working with filo dough, there is a ton of useful instruction in this new book. It’s a terrific handbook to keep in the kitchen for moments when you just aren’t sure how to do something like making a homemade pasta dough, stirring up a pan gravy or roasting a cut of meat. You’ll find delicious and easy to make recipes accompanying the loads of useful how to information. Definitely tops on my holiday list for any home cook.
