A skillet that’s good for you AND for the environment! Now that’s a smart idea. I was offered the opportunity to review this earth friendly skillet with a pan for me and a pan for you, one of my lucky readers. Since I am used to cooking with heavier pans, I was a bit thrown off by the light weight of this 12-inch skillet. That is until I discovered it to be the perfect pan for pan searing foods like my veggie burgers, crab cakes and one of all-time favorite foods: Spanish Tortilla. In fact, its light weight came in handy when I needed to invert my Spanish tortilla onto a plate. Usually this takes some muscle to do it right, but with the Earth Pan 12-inch skillet, no muscle was needed. Plus, I don’t think I’ve ever cooked my tortilla quite as golden as with this pan.
Since it’s lighter than most pans, you do have to be careful and cook your foods on a lower temperature than you may be used to. If you do watch the heat, it won’t let you down for a quick sauté or sear. To learn more, visit potsandpans.com

I have used an earth pan before and like them. However, my daughter has a tendency to not use the right temp or fat, and the pan discolors.

Since my Mother is 84 years old cooking gets to be a little burdensome for her even though she still loves to do it. This pan would be ideal for her due to the fact that it is light weight. She is always amazed at the new inventions and how things have improved over the years.

Gave my favorite “green” pan to my son to use at his college apartment and need a replacement!

Exactly what we have been looking for. We have been eliminating the “bad stuff” from our home for a while now and haven’t found a good non stick pan.

Good to see there is an environmental friendly pan to make cooking healthier.

This sounds even better than the 18 pans I currently have but consistently let me down! I don’t have good wrists (as I get older LOL) so this light non-stick would be so helpful! I too am attempting to go green and even making myself eat a better, healthier diet cutting down on additives etc. I would get a ton of use out of this pan! Most of mine are old and tired, kind of like me. And looking in the stores is overwhelming and none of them are green, to say the least! I can see this pan being a part of many healthy meals in the days to come.

Finally, a non-stick pan where the coating isn’t a danger if it should get scratched. What a thoughtful product to be aware of the earth and the long term use of the pan. I’d love to try it!
