Disclaimer: The following is a paid review of Whisked Foodie. I agreed to write this review in exchange for monetary compensation after I found their website to be favorable. As always, I only review companies and products that I like and prefer to leave anything negative off of Cooking With Friends.
At Whisked Foodie, every product, recipe and ingredient have a well written narrative accompanying it. It’s this insight and experience from fellow foodies that makes us want to taste something unfamiliar, test a fun new kitchen gadget or attempt a new recipe. In this saturated world of food blogging and recipes, it’s the connections we make with food writers that inspire us.
In my opinion, the writers at Whisked Foodie do a good job at providing useful information with flair. They make you want to bring it home to your own kitchen. Whisked Foodie is a website packed with information, appealing photographs and clever writing. In their own words, they aim to: “cut through the fat of gourmet culinary jargon and deliver the skinny on how to make real food taste real good””right in your own kitchen.”
Whisked Foodie is published by a small group of food experts hoping to inspire the “gourmand” in all of us. Like me, they praised the skills of home cooks and don’t believe you need a culinary education, fancy kitchen and endless bucks to stir, simmer and stew good food. From east coast to west coast perspective, you’ll find a website packed with restaurant reviews, wine pairings and interesting product reviews.
Thumbs up to the writers behind Whisked Foodie. Make sure to check them out and spread the word!
