Good food and solid relationships are vital to a happy, healthy life. I’m not willing to sacrifice either one and have found Cooking With Friends to be lifesaving. It’s enabled me to raise my family while defining who I am as a mother and friend. Raising kids isn’t always a smooth ride but the communal way of relying on friends for support extended to the kitchen.
am an advisor, professor, writer and marketer professional who believes in and lives by democratic values of truth, freedom and equality. I teach an advise undergraduate and graduate students at Montclair State University, helping them develop the skills and strategies needed to succeed in the nutrition, wellness and food science field. I write about food, cooking and relationships for my own website and have done so for numerous others. I’ve tested and reviewed products, provided consulting services for food companies and market research firms and taught cooking classes privately and at various schools. Finding the time to see my friends isn’t always easy which is why I am so grateful for the Cooking with Friends lifestyle. It allows me the chance to connect with my friends and to create satisfying and healthy foods for my on-the-go family.
I’m a trained marketing professional with a passion for food and cooking. I built the Cooking With Friends brand and website ten years ago as a way to inspire and encourage others to discover the pleasures of creating good food, often in the company of friends, with a myriad of ingredients, cooking tools and adventures as inspiration.
I welcome the opportunity to work for various organizations including cookware companies, publishers and food outlets. I work with a variety of food companies and love to review books and products, develop recipes, write articles and content for companies and websites.

I believe good food and solid relationships are vital to a happy, healthy life. I’m not willing to sacrifice either one and have found Cooking With Friends to be lifesaving. It’s enabled me to raise my family while defining who I am as a mother and friend. I won’t lie. Raising kids isn’t a smooth sailboat ride. But it’s the relationships I’ve formed through cooking that has helped me most stay sane throughout the hurdles of motherhood. As we sauté, simmer and stir while musing together, our relationships bubble as we’re busy creating.
There’s nothing more vital to life than food and friendship and nothing more natural than cooking together.
